In 2015, Nike launched the first of seven "CR7 Chapters." Today Nike released the final iteration of the series, Chapter 7. The Nike Mercurial CR7 Chapter 7 is the culmination of the storytelling and pays homage to the player's number 7 in the forefoot graphic, and also nods to the memorable carbon fiber boots of the past.
The main color used on the boot is similar to the launch color of the Mercurial Superfly VI, Total Orange. The Orange fades into white speckled with orange with 7's all over the toe box and bottom of the boot.
The black heel area shows what appears to be Carbon Fiber or at least the appearance of it. A silver writing with Mercurial branding and 0000015 are found running diagonally down. The 0000015 is showing that this is the 15th colorway made exclusively for the Portuguese star.
The two cleat areas are black on the Chapter 7 Mercurial Superfly VI with the same Carbon Fiber print with transparent studs under the toe box and orange tipped studs under the heel.
The insole features all of the logos used on his boots dating from Chapter 1 to the last 'Final Chapter' Chapter 7 Mercurial Superfly VI release.
