Nike's retailer partners launched the brand-new Phantom Ultra Venom, a special-edition football boot that pays homage to the classic Hypervenom model and combines it with the contemporary Phantom series.

It's also closely inspired by the 2017 Nike Flyknit Ultra, which offered a glimpse into the future of the Mercurial line back in the day.

The Nike Phantom Ultra Venom boots were available from select retailers in limited quantities.

The new Nike Phantom Ultra Venom football boots are a hybrid of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III and the Nike Flyknit Ultra. Those are two of Nike's best boots released in the past decade.

Nike's Phantom Ultra Venom football boots merge the upper of the Flyknit Ultra (base construction) and the Hypervenom Phantom III (revolutionary foam structure). The sole plate is taken from the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3.

All in all, the Nike Phantom Ultra Venom offers the best of both worlds - ultimate speed (Flyknit Ultra) with ultimate control (Hypervenom Phantom).

In terms of design, the new Phantom Ultra Venom soccer cleats from Nike are very modern. They combine a solid black base with an outlined Swoosh. The sole plate and outlined Swoosh are 'Bright Citrus', which is of course the same color used on the launch edition of the Hypervenom back in 2013.
