Joining the Bright Mango/Metallic Dark Grey-Challenge Red colorway of the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII at the end of this month is the Sail/Soar-Challenge Red look.
 
This time sporting a white Teijin Microfiber upper, Soar appears on the branding and lining while Challenge Red once again lands on the studs.
 
The Vapor VIII is Nike’s latest addition to one of the most successful boot line in the past decade. By using an ultra-thin Teijin microfiber upper and a minimalist outsole, Nike has been able to drop the weight down to 6.5 ounces, which is 1.5 oz. lighter than the past Vapor. Something also new to the Vapor VIII is the outsole design and stud configuration. Something unique about the studs, is the use of only 2 heel studs, rather than the usual 4.
