The Nike T90 Laser II football boot was the second in the successful Total 90 series.
 
Along with the synthetic version, Nike also released a Kangaroo leather edition (worn by Wayne Rooney) as well as a limited edition version of the cleats with a more lightweight, completely water resistant upper known as the Nike T90 Laser II 2009-10 version.
 
The unique ShotShield technology with precision rings that provided the Total 90 Laser with the largest sweet spot in football boots was increased. This innovative system was also extended on the inside and outside of the forefoot.

The key feature of the new Nike Total 90 Laser II is the Shot Shield, a cage which covers more of the upper than in previous models, and has been designed to offer more control on the ball, which transfers into accuracy, swerve and power.
 
Along with these features, the Nike Total 90 Laser II makes use of a dual off-set lacing design, which ensures more of the forefoot can offer a clean striking surface.
 
The sole of the boots is made from a lightweight TPU which feature studs which have been designed for optimum comfort and traction of firm surfaces.
