Nike Phantom GT Elite DF FG Daybreak Pack White / Pink Blast / Black
Comes with no bag and replacement box.
Nike Football has followed up its latest 2020/21 kit reveals — including the official unveiling of its new Phantom GT football boot. The boot’s design is the result of data compiled by the Nike Sport Research Lab, where scientists looked at how the ball comes onto and off the boot during a match.
The result is an innovative new texture — the GT stands for “Generative Texture” — which is intended to assist a player’s creativity. This texture has then be molded into the Nike Flyknit upper, with a focus on various patterns and heights at different areas of the foot.
As well as creating an all-new upper, Nike has also added a new sole plate and traction system underfoot, which allows the wearer to make sharp cuts and increase their control. This Nike Hyperquick System is more rigid in the heel, while its forefoot is designed for swift changes of direction.
Speaking about the new boot, Manchester City‘s Kevin De Bruyne said, “It’s pretty much exactly what I need to help me play the way I do. The touch, the feel of the boot is the best I have worn in my career,” while German international Kai Havertz added, “The fit and feel is incredible and not like any boot I have worn before.”
