Nike Mercurial Superfly IV SG Laser Orange / White / Black / Volt
Comes with no bootbag and replacement box.
Headlining Nike's Fall 2014 colour updates was the "Laser Orange" Mercurial Superfly IV which was seen on the feet of Nike's Superfly players in the Champions League group game openers.
After somewhat being in the shadow of the HyperVenom in 2013, there's no doubt that the Mercurial Superfly reclaimed its place as Nike’s headline act. Four colourways strong, the Superfly IV catalogue already had a strong one, with the new “Laser Orange” design succeeding the previous three “HyperPunch”, “Stealth” and "Electric Green” editions.
The arrival got it’s first official run-out in the Champions League on the feet of Mercurial players including Alexis Sanchez and Raheem Sterling. The boots arrived in players lockers and with Roma striker Juan Manuel Iturbe becoming one of the first to reveal the boots. Nike’s complete Mercurial roster slipped into the “Laser Orange” colourway while Cristiano Ronaldo remained in his “Electric Green” boots.
“Nike constantly strives to employ color in original and innovative ways,” said Denis Dekovic, Nike Football Design Director. “For our new collection, we utilized vibrant colors to create a striking new look on-pitch. Our intention here was to amplify color as much as possible, we wanted to produce the brightest possible colors and really tap into their vibrancy.”
