Stepping up its limited-edition game, Nike just launched the brand new Mercurial Superfly GS 360, inspired by one of its most iconic football boots ever, the 2012 Nike GS. The boots were quite limited and sold out very quickly!
 
Released in 2012, the Nike GS (short for 'Green Speed') football boot was the lightest, most environmentally friendly and fastest production boot Nike has ever made. It is no wonder that the Nike GS boots are some of the most sought after soccer cleats today - they were limited to just 2,012 pairs. Neymar wore them at the 2012 Olympics.
 
Later the same year, Nike dropped the GS 2, which was the brand's first-ever soccer cleat to feature ACC.
 
The Nike Mercurial 360 GS soccer cleats are built on the all-Flyknit construction of the Mercurial Superfly VI, but retain the color-blocking look of the original. They are split between Volt in the front and black in the rear, accentuated with very eye-catching brandings found all over the design.
 
A special GS360 logo appears on the tongue panel, as well as on the center part of the bottom of the boots. On the back is the edition number of each boot (there are 2,018 pairs available globally).
 
Tech-wise, the Nike Mercurial GS360 football boots bring a few new things to the table compared to regular-edition Superfly 6s. They have a differently shaped collar, which is higher at the front and back, and also feature some sort of texture on the upper in the midfoot part.
 
Most importantly though, they come with the same lightweight sole plate used on the 2012 original, including an external heel counter.
